I can not think of anything more different than living in Ethiopia than snowboarding in Colorado.
I'm writing this from a condo in Breckenridge, Colorado nursing my aches and pains after spending a beautiful day with my family riding my snowboard down the mountain. Fabulous.
I'm back in the US (again). This time for good (I think). The project in Ethiopia is moving along under its own power so I'm on to bigger and better things. (I'm not sure what those bigger and better things are yet but, we will figure that out over the next few weeks.)
I'm still processing the lessons learned from my experience in Africa. I will let everybody know if I have any great thoughts but I know I have learned a bit about negotiation in the developing world so maybe I can apply that to something useful...
Anyway, ciao and stay tuned for "John's next great adventure".
